Affordable Louboutin "Simulators"

It is probably wrong on so many levels (especially the copyright level), but I have found a shoe company that mimics Louboutins with their style and red heel. Oh...Deer! These shoes typically run around $100, so they are way more affordable than CLs (unless you find an insane deal on ebay). I have only read reviews on their fit and suggestions are to go half a size up (especially in the patent leather). Here are my tips on finding these shoes for far below retail. I bought the Pralines on ebay for $24.95 + s/h. There are a pair of cute leopard wedges that were on Amazon.com for only $34.95 w/ free shipping. Endless.com is currently having a sale on some of the styles, so maybe you can luck into one. And there is always ohdeershoes.com. I have yet to find the Coffee Pump on sale and that is my favorite shoe of all! There is something chic, trendy, and traditional all in one shoe.

There is word that Mr. Louboutin has stated his case regarding the illegal use of his trademark red sole, so Oh...Deer! may not be using the red soles anymore soon, so you might want to go invest in some shoes now while you can own "a" red sole shoe.

Oh...Deer! Coffee Pump

Oh...Deer! Praline

Oh...Deer! Jamocha T-Strap

These are Not Necessarily Deals....But They Are Dealicious!

I apologize for the lack of posts lately. I have been vigourously studying. But, lucky for everyone here, I found a pair of shoes that I believe are H-O-T hot! They are Christian Louboutin (...again), but aren't they cute. I'm sure they run a ginormous amount of money, so I won't even venture a guess, but I wanted to highlight the shoes that are adorable. They do somewhat mirror the shoes that I poster earlier (Louboutin Som1), but these are a bit sleaker. I think these are not quite able to wear these season to season because the silver is so prevalent. I think the Som1's are longer lasting because the heel is a nice surprise, not a true part of the shoe (if that makes any sense?). Anyway, let me know what you think about the shoes.

Expensive Pants are NEVER Quite So Expensive

I have come to enjoy the quality that is Banana Republic. I would guess 30% of my "everyday" wardrobe is BR and 90% of my work wardrobe is BR. With that said, BR pants are B-E-A-U-tiful, and they make your rear look delightful.

BR's pants usually run around $98 for a lined pair of pants ($78 for unlined stretch material). Their fits are amazing (I wear nothing but Contoured/Jackson fit), but there are 3 or 4 more that each will make your amazing body look amazing! With that said, 100 bucks is far too much to spend on an amazing rear!
That is why I shop ONLY in the clearance racks of BR. The pants that are shown here are only $29.99 on bananarepublic.com. Go to the website and look around. The selection is best early in the morning and probably late and night (that's when the online restocking takes place), but you can always luck out on a great pair of BR pants that will shine in your wardrobe.

Watch out for BR in-store sales, too. Just last week I scored at BR! I bought a cute pair of beige pants w/ a slight hint of a wide pink plaid for $20, a satin cocktail dress for $27 (regularly $148), and a pair of the cutest black peep-toe pumps with a wooden heel (for half-off already reduced shoes...which were only $30... and they were originally $138). The entire store was super super busy! I bet everyone was so excited they made their way to the store that morning! My total was $77 for $384 worth of merchandise! That's a really good deal! <-- that made my Saturday a VERY good day!

So, you don't have to wear cheaper clothes if your wallet is mostly empty. You just have to spend a bit more time scouring the clearance racks for deals that you will make your swoon!

Oh yeah...and if you have a Luxe Card at BR, you can get free shipping and free tailoring on any of our BR purchases. It is definately worth it if the regular inseam is too short, and the long inseam is too long (Ahem! Yes, me.)

Christian Louboutin... Deal Ehh?

Christian Louboutin shoes are the ultimate luxury shoe I'm told. Superior comfort. Superior style. And they themselves are an icon to behold. Well, feast your eyes on these beauties. WHAT A DEAL: Louboutin. These babies are currently going for $223.90 (a steal from $560, if you ask me...not a great steal, i agree). I have never owned a pair of "designer" shoes because I just can't make myself spend that kind of money, but boy wouldn't I love to just feel the comfort of the patented patent leather shoe with the red under-heel.

I was never really into the whole patent leather trend until right at the end, then I fell in love! Done in the right way, patent leather is really quite nice. I'm still trying to decide if it is a trend or a staple. Let me know what you think. I haven't come to a clear decision either way.

Oh to dream...

Here are some pics of Nicky Hilton wearing the 5" version of these shoes...

I Absolutely Love Love Love These Shoes

I'm not one for exposing my perfectly pedicured toes (ha!) at every occasion that requires a cocktail dress, so you wouldn't believe how elated I was to see these adorable Gianni Bini shoes at Dillards before Christmas. I wore them to my school's Christmas Party and they were an absolute hit. Gianni Bini shoes always have an air of sophistication that I just adore and the shoes are always cute! I have no idea how may pairs of Gianni Bini shoes I've owned over the past years, but I'm sure it is an impressive number.

These shoes are a semi-mirror-finished round toe with a wide elastic band in black. The finish is actually quite subtle to simulate a mirror, which makes it quite unique in its texture and tone. They easily look quite wonderful with a cocktail dress and stunning when dressing up jeans.

I have actually gotten quite a wear out of these shoes, too. I wore them to a Christmas party, to see The Nutcracker Ballet, and to a New Year's Eve Party. At the New Year's Eve Party, I paired the shoes with 7FAM jeans and layered sweaters and a houndstooth pea coat. I thought everything paired quite nicely to give a otherwise sophisticated look a kick!
When I bought the shoes in December, they were full-priced around $70. Luckily now, they are $40! WHAT A DEAL: gianni bini "angel".

Hope everyone can take advantage of this wonderful deal! Let me know what you think...
